Fully vaccinated Minnesotans are taking off their masks now that communities and companies are relaxing their mask policies.
Monday, Target announced fully vaccinated shoppers will not be required to wear masks unless they are at a location with a state or city mask requirement in place.
Many customers at the Roseville location weren’t aware of this new policy change yet. Others say it’s becoming hard to keep track of where the masks are and aren’t required.
For some, the news is exciting. Other people, however, are not ready to give up their masks yet.
"I got vaccinated two weeks ago, but I’m keeping mine on. I don’t look that good underneath all of this, I’ve gained a few pounds," said Phani Raj, of St. Paul.
"You feel a little exposed because you are so used to being covered and anonymous. All of a sudden you have to buy lipstick and be presentable. It felt strange," said Gay Allworden, of Little Canada.
