Arrest made in connection to incident where officer was dragged by truck in St. Paul

The St. Paul Police Department announced an arrest has been made in connection to an incident last week where an officer was briefly dragged by a truck.

Police said 38-year-old Demone Gregory Ivory, of St. Paul, was arrested this past Saturday on fourth-degree assault charges. He was the man in red seen on surveillance cameras along the 900 block of Arcade Street Thursday.

The pickup truck was recovered Tuesday and is being processed for evidence. Police found out the truck was stolen from the Highland Park neighborhood earlier last week.

Police are still looking for the driver of the truck.
