Most of the country is under a blanket of winter weather, but while we’re battling the bitter cold here, there are people living the good life.

Call it the tale of two Hastings.

With below-zero temperatures, members at Harbor Church in Hastings, Minnesota, bundled up for Sunday services.

"They just all remark about the temperature," the Rev. Jim Anderson said. "It’s painful out there. We all want this to go away and be over with it."

More than a thousand miles to the south, the Rev. Ben D’Amico preached from a much warmer pulpit at First Baptist Church in Hastings, Florida.

Sunday weather in Hastings, Florida, was 72 degrees, and Monday was expected at 80. Meanwhile, its northern counterpart had a high of 5 below.

"It’s pretty nice," D’Amico said. "We don’t have much of a winter. It can get to 30 sometimes, but it goes away in two to three days and we’re back to the hot weather."
