7 postponed Wild games rescheduled in February
After a slow stretch that saw the Minnesota Wild play only six games in five weeks due to COVID-19 postponements, the schedule will now get very busy for the team.
Wednesday, the NHL announced an updated schedule for the Wild that includes seven games that were postponed in December and January. Those games — at Winnipeg (Feb. 8), vs. Carolina (Feb. 12), vs. Detroit (Feb. 14), at Winnipeg (Feb. 16), vs. Florida (Feb. 18), at Edmonton (Feb. 20) and at Ottawa (Feb. 22) — have all been moved into a two-week stretch next month.
With the updated schedule, the Wild will now play those seven games before picking up the team’s normal schedule on Feb. 24. That means the Wild will play 40 games in the final 77 days of the season.
Tickets for Minnesota’s three home games that were postponed will be valid on the rescheduled date, according to the Wild. Anyone with questions can contact Wild Fan Relations at 651-222-9453 or customer.service@wild.com.
