4 arrested after assault involving tire iron, vehicle in western Wisconsin

Four people were arrested following an assault involving a tire iron and a vehicle, according to the sheriff's office in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. 

The sheriff's office said deputies were called just before 7 p.m. Thursday on the report of a person that was assaulted with a tire iron and then later struck by a vehicle involving the same suspects. 

The suspect vehicle was later stopped by a deputy with the Pepin County Sheriff's Office.

The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office said four suspects were taken into custody and charged with armed robbery and substantial batter. Additional charges are pending.
