Minneapolis police say three separate shootings in the city Wednesday have left five people injured.
According to police, two of the three shootings happened around 6:30 p.m.
One of those shootings happened near the Winner gas station on West Broadway near North Lyndale Avenue, and is believed to be a drive-by shooting.
That shooting left a 17-year-old boy injured. Police say he is expected to survive.
Other vehicles and a nearby building were also hit by gunfire.
The second shooting happened in the Lyn-Lake neighborhood on Pleasant Avenue near Lake Street.
A man and woman were injured outside of an apartment building after they were hit while sitting outside.
They were taken to an area hospital, and are also expected to survive.
Police say the suspect in that shooting left before officers arrived.
Meanwhile, a third shooting – this one in South Minneapolis – left another man and woman injured.
Police say it happened near the Marathon gas station on East Lake Street by 17th Avenue South around 10 p.m.
According to police, the woman was shot once and refused medical care, while the man was shot multiple times.
He was taken to a hospital, and is also expected to survive.
The suspect, according to police, ran from the scene.
