20-year-old woman killed in New Richmond crash

A 20-year-old woman is dead following a crash Tuesday afternoon in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

According to the New Richmond Police Department, emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash just before 3:30 p.m. on Business 64 about a quarter-mile west of County Road K.

A Chevrolet pickup truck headed eastbound on Business 64 collided with a Buick LeSabre traveling west.

A passenger in the LeSabre — 20-year-old Grace Fagnan of Somerset, Wisconsin — was severely injured and was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.

All occupants of the vehicles involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, and there are no signs either driver was impaired.

The crash remains under investigation.
