2-year-old in hospital after being pulled from water in Ham Lake

Authorities say a toddler has been airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital after being pulled from a pond Saturday evening in Ham Lake.
According to Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews responded to a report of a possible drowning around 7:09 p.m. in a pond at Lions Park. Family and friends nearby were able to pull the unresponsive 2-year-old child from the water and begin life-saving measures.
First responders continued life-saving measures before airlifting the child to Children’s Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.
The child’s condition is unknown at this time.
