2 die after truck hits ATV in St. Croix County

Two people have died after the ATV they were on was hit by a truck earlier this month in St. Croix County, Wisconsin.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a reported crash on County Highway E near 290th Street at about 4:28 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Deputies learned that a 29-year-old driver in a Dodge Ram truck was traveling eastbound on County Highway E when the truck hit an ATV, which was also eastbound on the road.
Both ATV occupants — identified as 57-year-old John F. Jarvis and 58-year-old Pamela J. Jarvis — were seriously injured.
John was airlifted to a hospital while Pamela was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The sheriff’s office says John died from his injuries on Aug. 15 and Pamela died early on Aug. 16.
The crash remains under investigation.
