2 dead after two shootings in St. Paul overnight

Two separate shootings left two adult males dead early Sunday morning.

An adult male in his 30s arrived at Regions Hospital at 12:15 a.m. by private transport and died a short time later, according to St. Paul Police. The other adult male, believed to be in his 20s, was sent to Regions Hospital by ambulance where he died, St. Paul Police said.

St. Paul Police believe the first shooting happened in a parking lot on the 400 block of Jackson St.

The vehicle in which the victim arrived had bullet holes in the windshield, according to police. The St. Paul Police detained the driver.

The second shooting occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Raspberry Island and is believed to have happened during a robbery, according to St. Paul Police.

The victim was sitting in his car, according to St. Paul Police.
