2 dead, 1 in custody in Robbinsdale homicide, police say

A homicide investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a Robbinsdale house Sunday.

At 4:16 p.m., Robbinsdale police responded to the 3700 block of Lake Drive after learning that a man and woman were found deceased by a family member in a home. Upon arriving, officers found the pair who appeared to have suffered fatal gunshot wounds, police said.

One adult is in custody.

KSTP crews on scene saw Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office vehicles present.

Police said the incident doesn’t seem to be random and there is no threat to the public.

The Robbinsdale Police Department is investigating, along with "additional agencies," and more information is expected as the investigation continues.
