UPDATE: 14-year-old girl missing from state fairgrounds found safe

UPDATE: At 4:30 PM the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced that Carmen Nunez has been located by law enforcement and is safe.

Law enforcement thanked everyone who assisted in sharing information on the missing girl.


The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is asking for help finding a girl who was reported missing from the state fairgrounds at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Carmen Brooke Nunez, 14, is described as five-foot-tall and slender with brown hair and brown eyes.

The BCA says she was last seen wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and light blue baggy jeans. She also might be wearing an olive green shirt.
