$1,000 reward offered for information in 2019 Bloomington homicide, assault

A reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest in a 2019 homicide and assault case in Bloomington.

According to Bloomington Police, the department is looking for information connected to the Nov. 2, 2019 murder of 21-year-old Warsame Ahmed Hassan and the shooting of another person, who survived.

Police said Warsame and the other victim were shot after an argument while they were attending a large gathering near West 86th Street and Penn Avenue South.
