1 injured in northeast Minneapolis shooting Monday night

A man was injured in a shooting in northeast Minneapolis Monday night.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, police were called just after 11 p.m. on the report of a shooting on the 200 block of Lowry Avenue NE.

When officers arrived, they found that a fight had occurred and shots were fired. One victim was on scene with an injury that was not considered to be life-threatening.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center by ambulance.

Suspects fled the scene prior to officer arrival.

The investigation into this shooting is ongoing.
