1 in hospital after shooting at St. Paul gas station
One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting outside a St. Paul gas station Wednesday night.
St. Paul Police said officers were called to Regions Hospital at about 10:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a gunshot victim arriving at the hospital.
When officers got to the hospital, security officers directed them to the victim’s vehicle in the parking ramp, where officers spoke to a 25-year-old woman.
The woman told officers she and the victim, a 33-year-old man, were at the Holiday gas station near Rice Street and West Pennsylvania Avenue when someone approached the driver’s side of the vehicle they were in and fired at the victim multiple times.
The woman said she then drove the victim to the hospital.
The victim was listed in critical but stable condition as of Thursday morning.
No arrests have been made at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
