1 dead, 2 injured in north Minneapolis shooting, no one in custody

One person was killed and two were injured in a shooting Saturday afternoon in north Minneapolis, authorities said.
According to Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 4:17 p.m. on the 5100 block of James Avenue North.
While officers were en route, they were advised that multiple people had been shot and the suspect had fled the scene on foot.
Three adult victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene. All of them were rushed to North Memorial Medical Center. Two of them had non-life-threatening injuries, and the third died shortly after arriving at the hospital. The two who survived are in satisfactory condition and are stable.
Initial investigation indicates there was a fight in the doorway of a home at the time of the shooting.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the deceased's name in the days to come.
