1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Minneapolis

One person is dead and another is injured after a shooting in north Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon.

According to Minneapolis Police spokesperson John Elder, officers responded to reports of shots fired at 3:53 p.m. near Logan and Lowry avenues.

When they arrived at the scene, officers found one person dead and another suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. The injured victim was transported to a hospital.

Suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

An investigation is ongoing.

The victims’ identities haven’t been released at this time.
