Rare trout found in southern Minnesota stream
A rare trout was recently found in a southern Minnesota stream.
According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, a fisheries crew found two young brook trout with xanthism in a stream.
The DNR said xanthism is similar to albinism and affects the pigmentation, as only yellow and orange colors show.
