DNR: Upper Red Lake to have bag limit of 3 walleye during winter season

The DNR has implemented the same regulations in the last two seasons. The regulations are set after the DNR completes a netting assessment in the fall.

The past netting assessment found the walleye population has remained stable over the past four years.

Open water fishing regulations on the popular walleye lake will be announced in March 2021.
