Zac Brown Band to perform at State Fair Grandstand

Country music group Zac Brown Band will be performing at this year’s Grandstand Concert Series during the Minnesota State Fair.

This is the first act to be confirmed to appear at the concert series, and more acts are expected to be announced before the fair.

The Grammy Award-winning group has hit songs such as “Chicken Fried,” “Same Boat” and “Sweet Annie.”

The group is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 2, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11. The stop is part of the Out in the Middle Tour, which starts in April.

Fair officials say Robert Randolph, a pedal steel guitarist, songwriter and vocalist will also be performing that day.
