It has been a weekend full of fun at the Minneapolis Convention Center as families have come out to enjoy Tourney Town and all of its games and activities.
But none of the NCAA Women’s Final Four festivities would be possible without the volunteers, who converged on Minneapolis from at least 22 different states.
“It’s incredible,” said Kathy Gullickson, volunteer coordinator for the Women’s Final Four. “We have almost 1,000 volunteers for 2,000 shifts.”
Volunteers of all ages give their time — a minimum of four hours — but many have been helping out since Tuesday.
