Women who died from single-vehicle crash in Brooklyn Center identified

The woman who died from a single-vehicle crash in Brooklyn Center Monday morning has been identified as 49-year-old Michelle Ann Marcil from Blaine.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Marcil’s cause of death resulted from complications of multiple blunt force injuries from the crash.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Monday Marcil traveled south on Highway 252 near 66th Avenue North when the vehicle left the road and struck a light pole at the intersection.

Marcil suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital where she later died, said the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
