Woman taken to hospital after early Saturday morning shooting, MPD investigating

Minneapolis police are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 2:30 a.m. on Saturday in a townhouse on the 1000 block of Olson Memorial Highway.

Officers found a woman in her 20s with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and she was transported to the hospital.

Police said they believe this is a domestic situation and that an argument escalated to gunfire.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested, police said. The shooting is under investigation.
