Woman killed in St. Paul stabbing identified

Authorities have identified the woman who died after a stabbing in St. Paul on Sunday.

St. Paul Police said 48-year-old Tina M. McCombs was the victim.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. and found McCombs unresponsive with a stab wound to her chest, according to police. Medics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, police announced that a 38-year-old had been booked into jail in connection to the stabbing. Formal charges haven’t yet been filed.
