Woman injured from gunfire in Minneapolis

A woman in her 20s is injured after an early morning shooting in Minneapolis, officials say.

Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department said a woman was standing at the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 4th Street shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday when she heard gunshots and felt pain.

The woman was brought to Hennepin Healthcare with non-life-threatening injuries.

This incident is under investigation.
