Woman found dead in Minneapolis alley identified
A woman who was found dead last week in a north Minneapolis alley has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman Monday as 29-year-old Tiffany Monique Walker.
The medical examiner says Walker died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head, and her death has been ruled a homicide.
Minneapolis Police said officers responded to the 3600 block of Knox Avenue North at about 7:10 a.m. on Aug. 11 on a report of a person down in the alley. First responders noted obvious trauma to Walker’s body and determined she was already dead.
Her death remains under investigation. No other information has been released by police.
