Woman found dead in Burnett County, WI, suspect in custody

Authorities are investigating an apparent homicide in the Village of Siren, according to the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office.

A woman was found dead at a residence around 2:23 a.m. Friday, authorities said. A suspect was identified and arrested around 10:26 a.m.

Authorities did not identify the victim or the suspect. The case is still under investigation.
