Wisconsin State Crime Lab on scene after person found dead in Polk County residence

A person was found dead in a Polk County, WI residence Monday night.
According to a release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the office received a medical call in the Village of Centuria. When deputies arrived, they located the victim in the residence.
Sheriff's office officials said they don't currently believe there is any danger to the public.
This incident is under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Polk County Medical Examiner. The Wisconsin Crime Lab is also assisting.
The identity of the victim will be released once the family has been notified.
