Wisconsin authorities continue search for man missing since 2019

Authorities in Wisconsin reminded the public Thursday that they're still searching for a man who went missing over Labor Day Weekend in 2019.

Norbert "Tony" Dantzman, 89, was last seen walking north out of Winter, Wisconsin, on County Road W, the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office said. He was wearing a black jacket, a black and white checkered shirt, black pants, black shoes and a gray hat.

The sheriff's office said Dantzman, a Marine veteran, suffers from dementia and may not have realized he was lost.

Sawyer County Sheriff Doug Mrotek asked all citizens to check their outbuildings and contact the sheriff's office if you find anything suspicious that could be tied to Dantzman's disappearance.

A $5,000 reward has been offered for information leading to his location.

"I appreciate the diligent and continued effort in the search for my father, whose disappearance has caused my family and me great sorrow," said David Dantzman, Tony's son. "Any information no matter how small or seemingly insignificant is valued. If you know anything, please come forward and help my family in the search of my missing father."
