Wild Greg’s Saloon in Minneapolis closes, citing crime and COVID mandates
Wild Greg’s Saloon in downtown Minneapolis closed this past weekend, according to a post on the bar’s Facebook page.
The bar cites “endless lockdown and mandates” in addition to “rampant unchecked crime” as reasons for the closure.
Wild Greg’s was part of a group of seven Minneapolis bars and restaurants that sued the city and the mayor for “vaccine-or-test” mandates in place earlier this year.
A spokesperson thanked patrons who supported the business while it was open.
The saloon will still operate two locations in Florida, and one location in Austin, Texas.
