Wednesday the anniversary of deadly 1965 tornado outbreak

Wednesday marked 55 years since one of the worst tornado outbreaks in Minnesota history.

A total of 13 people died and hundreds more were injured when six tornadoes touched down across the Twin Cities.

One of the hardest hit communities was Fridley.

Two F-4 tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down within a two-hour span that night.
