Walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic in Minneapolis open to veterans who are front-line, essential workers

Veterans who are front-line, essential workers of any age, as well as veterans who are 65 and older, are able to participate in a walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic Monday in Minneapolis.

No appointments are necessary for the event, to take place at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

There are 400 Moderna vaccine doses to be administered, according to site officials. Those who get their first dose Monday must commit to returning in four weeks for a second dose.

Site officials said they are offering the clinic to both enrolled and non-enrolled veterans who supply their DD214 form at the clinic.
