Waite Park sports bar suffers 'significant damage' following fire

A Waite Park sports bar suffered 'significant damage' following a fire Monday, according to fire officials.

The Waite Park Fire Department said firefighters were called just before 8:50 a.m. to the Ultimate Sports Bar and Grill on the report of a fire.

When responders arrived, they found large flames and smoke. Firefighters were able to successfully extinguish the fire.

Fire officials said the building suffered significant damage. No one was injured during the incident. 

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the state fire marshal.
