Wabasha Street bridge closes for repairs
Construction work closed a bridge in St. Paul, Thursday morning.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the Wabasha Street bridge over Interstate 94 and Interstate 35E closed at 9 a.m.
Officials are expected to finish the repair work around mid-May.
Drivers are urged to use alternate routes to avoid congestion and delays.
The posted detour will take travelers on St. Peter Street, 11th Street, 12th Street and Cedar Street.
