Minnesota veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness now have updated transitional homes to go to.
The Home Depot Foundation and the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans, or “MACV,” repaired and updated 13 homes.
They’re all different sizes and types.
Seven are specifically for men, one is for women and five are for families.
Volunteers updated the plank flooring, mulch and landscape outside of one home.
This project is part of the home depot foundation’s efforts during this national volunteer month.
