Vikings fans had a chance to get a COVID-19 vaccine at Sunday’s home game against the Browns.
The first 50 Minnesotans 18 and older who got vaccinated were entered into a drawing for a chance to win tickets to the Vikings-Bears game on Jan. 9.
For one season ticket holder who got his booster shot at the game, it wasn’t about the tickets. He says it was about saving lives.
"I would suggest that if you are immunocompromised, why would you take the full brunt of getting COVID without a vaccine in you?" Gary Moore said. "No way. I’ve had too many people that I know that died."
The Skol Up Your Sleeves giveaway will repeat at the next home game pop-up clinic on Oct. 10, when the Vikings take on the Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium.
