Victim of gas station shooting in Minneapolis identified

The victim who died after a shooting at a Minneapolis gas station was identified on Thursday.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, 36-year old Telly Tramaine Blair died due to multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is homicide.

At 11:08 a.m. on Aug. 9, officers responded to a report of shots fired along West Broadway Avenue. While officers were en route to the scene, they were notified someone had been shot, police said.

When they arrived, officers found Blair suffering from a gunshot wound.

Blair didn’t have a pulse and wasn’t breathing when officers checked him. Paramedics arrived and took Blair to North Memorial Medical Center, where he died shortly after arriving.
