Victim of fatal north Minneapolis shooting identified
The victim of a fatal shooting in north Minneapolis Tuesday night has been identified.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 24-year-old Carlos Lernard Rogers. He died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

Minneapolis Police said officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation and multiple reports of gunfire at about 11:20 p.m. on the 2100 block of Emerson Avenue North Tuesday night.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found two adult male victims who had suffered apparent gunshot wounds, police said. Both victims were taken to the hospital, where one was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and the other was later pronounced dead, police said.
