Multiple people were taken to a hospital after a late-night crash at a St. Paul cemetery on Thursday.

First responders were called to the Elmhurst Cemetery on Dale Street just after 11 p.m., according to St. Paul police.

A car that appeared to have smashed into a tree was seen smoking, and multiple people were taken away by an ambulance.

The details surrounding the crash are still unclear.

Police are investigating and say nobody was arrested as of Friday morning.
