UPDATE: Benson police locate missing 14-year-old girl

UPDATE: The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension said Friday that 14-year-old Cienna Pittman has been located and is safe.


The Benson Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old girl who was last seen Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, Cienna Pittman was last seen Tuesday around 3:55 p.m. getting into a vehicle at her residence in the western Minnesota city. It is unknown where the vehicle headed or has been but it is believed by authorities she may end up in the Twin Cities metro area.

Pittman was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket, a black Under Armour long-sleeve shirt and black leggings. She has tattoos, including a full left arm tattoo, "Honey" on her wrist and stars on both of her front shoulders. She also has piercings in her ears, nose and belly button.

If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Pittman, they are asked to call 911 or contact the Benson Police Department via the Swift County Sheriff’s Office at 320-843-3133.
