Two juveniles arrested after 18-year-old shot in Robbinsdale

An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting in Robbinsdale Monday afternoon, according to law enforcement.

An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a shooting in Robbinsdale Monday afternoon, according to law enforcement.

Robbinsdale Police Captain John Elder says officers were called to the 3300 block of Grimes Avenue North just after 1 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

There, they found the 18-year-old without a pulse.

Elder says officers started CPR and other first aid before the victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance.

As of Monday night, the victim was listed in critical condition.

Other officers were able to find a suspect vehicle and, with help from Crystal police, arrested two juvenile suspects, Elder says. A gun was also found in the vehicle.

The shooting remains under investigation.
