Twin Cities company holds contest to award classroom cash

A Twin Cities company is giving teachers some financial help as they head back to school.
A recent report by My eLearning World shows teachers will spend more than $800 of their own money this year on classroom supplies.
Burnsville company Genz-Ryan Plumbing and Heating is holding its Classroom Cash Campaign, awarding teachers with thousands of dollars in gift cards.
Teachers are nominated and people can vote for their 18 favorites.
Over the past four years the company has raised nearly $75,000 for teachers.
You have until this Tuesday to vote for a teacher. Winners will be announced on Wednesday.
