Twin Cities Book Festival returns to Minnesota State Fairgrounds

An annual tradition returned to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

The Twin Cities Book Festival went virtual in 2020 but was back in person Saturday.

This year the festival offered a Q&A session with out-of-state authors. The usual book fair with publishers and other organizations was also featured.

"We’ve gotten pretty — we like to think — pretty good at getting everybody together and getting everybody into one room that can all enjoys books together," said Linda Stack-Nelson, exhibit coordinator for the Twin Cities Book Festival.

The book festival launched in 2001 to support local readers, writers and publishers. It also offers virtual events throughout the year.
