The St. Paul Hotel serving free meals to first responders

Across Minnesota, people are answering the call and are stepping up to help those on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The St. Paul Hotel is giving out free meals to all first responders.
Since the hotel started the program last week, it has given out more than 400 meals.

Executive chef Lance Kapp says it's an honor helping those who help all of us.

"The hotel has always been here for the community," Kapp said. "To be able to serve the community and to help the community at this time, it's pretty special."
The hotel is donating all tips from first responders to Gillette Children's Hospital.
