A Tennessee man has been charged in connection to a case of shower peeping at the University of Minnesota.
Court documents show 25-year-old Deontre Donnell Mason, of Knoxville, Tenn., is charged with one count of interfering with privacy, a gross misdemeanor.
Two women told University of Minnesota police that they were showing in Frontier Hall on Oct. 13, 2021, when one of them saw a man peering under one of the showers.
A complaint states that the man ran away when asked what he was doing.
Investigators were able to use surveillance video to identify the man as Mason, the complaint states, and tracked him to Frontier Hall at the time the victims said the incident took place. The victims also confirmed the suspect’s clothing matched Mason’s.
