Step one foods open a new office in Eden Prairie

Step One Foods, a nutrition-based food program, opened its new office and production facility Wednesday in Eden Prairie.

The company strives to help lower cholesterol with heart-healthy products so that patients can be less dependent on medications.

Dr. Elizabeth Klodas, chief medical officer of Step One Foods, says, "My big message is that what we eat has a tremendous impact on our health and that even a couple of small changes a day can have a really big, measurable improvement."

Along with its healthy products, Step One Foods has a blog with the hope of empowering people to take action when it comes to their health.
