Stabbing on Metro Transit bus leaves 1 injured

Metro Transit police are investigating a stabbing on a bus Friday night within Minneapolis’ Warehouse District, an agency representative tells 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.

Metro Transit says police responded to a report of a stabbing around 5:30 p.m. on a northbound Route 5 bus near Seventh Street and Oak Lake Avenue in Minneapolis.

Responders took one man to the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police say they are still looking for a suspect.
