The 2022 Irish Fair, which celebrates all things Irish culture, will begin Friday afternoon at Harriet Island in St. Paul.

The annual event is held every second weekend in August.

Gates open at 3 p.m., and the music, food and dancing will last until about 11 p.m.

Events will be held all weekend long, from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday.

On Saturday and Sunday, families will be able to join the Wee Parades, which is a new event and makes stops around the fairgrounds for activities such as cooking demos and a petting zoo.

Performances of area Irish dance schools and groups will also be happening throughout the fairgrounds.

Sunday, a Catholic Mass will be held at 10:15 a.m.
