St. Paul police locate therapy dog that was inside stolen vehicle

UPDATE: Police say they have located a dog that was inside of vehicle when it was stolen in St. Paul.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, a passerby saw who saw a story about the missing dog and stolen vehicle saw the car and called the police.
When officers arrived, they found the dog, named Ladybug. Officers also came in contact with a 33-year-old woman, who was arrested.
Ladybug, a shar pei-pitbull-retriever mix was inside a grey 2008 Dodge Caliber when the vehicle was stolen Tuesday in downtown St. Paul.

St. Paul police are asking for the public’s help to find a Navy veteran’s stolen therapy dog.
Ladybug, a shar pei-pitbull-retriever mix was inside a grey 2008 Dodge Caliber when the vehicle was stolen Tuesday in downtown St. Paul.
Police are looking for the dog and the vehicle.
The dog’s owner hopes it will be returned.
"Just bring my dog back," Jim said. "I can replace anything else but I can’t replace her."
"We don’t have suspect information at this time," St. Paul police Sgt. Natalie Davis said. "I can tell you the vehicle hasn’t been located and we’re still looking for Ladybug. We need the public’s help in returning the dog back to its owner."
