No injuries reported after stolen vehicle crashes into St. Paul home

UPDATE: Police say no one was injured after a stolen vehicle crashed into a home late Thursday night in St. Paul.

According to St. Paul police, officers were patrolling on the 1200 block of White Bear Avenue when they saw a white Kia SUV quickly speed out of a parking lot shortly before 11:30 p.m.

Officers saw the vehicle head south on White Bear Avenue, and followed it, however the vehicle was traveling too fast for police to catch up to.

Police, however, were able to see the vehicle try to turn west on Ames Avenue, but the driver lost control and hit an occupied home on the southwest corner of Ames and White Bear avenues.

The driver of the vehicle ran away, and a K9 was brought in to help search the area, as well as a helicopter. The suspect wasn’t found.

Police say no one was injured inside the home, and the vehicle was taken to an impound lot.
